My Expertise
My school offers the IB program, meaning classes I take are IB level, including math, literature, and science classes. I have been tutoring in math for over 4 years, but I have expanded my practice to any other classes, especially writing/essay help.
Personalized Lessons
In elementary and middle school, I struggled with grasping math concepts. I wondered why teachers would teach a unit with many obstacles. Because of this, I strive to teach with simplicity. Unlike other tutors, I take into account each student's learning style, such as hands on, or taking notes. By conforming to the student's learning style, the subject that is being worked on becomes easier to understand,. As the student progresses, they will continue to grow confidence in that area.
What Subjects?
Math
Need help with a certain math unit? I am here to assist! I am confident to help in units such as algebra 1, algebra 2, trigonometry, geometry, statistic, and pre-calc. I also tutor in elementary and middle school levels of math, such as simple math, pre-algebra and other grade-level math.
Science
I have taken physics for 1 year, along with chemistry and bio for 2 years in the IB program. This year, I am taking both chemistry and bio for a third year, which are IB level. I can help with all 3 of these sciences from the basics to advanced topics.
Writing
Research essays can be difficult for many. I am able to proof read, or simply help write the essay with a student. In addition, I am skilled in providing help with literacy essays, such as literary analysis on poems, novels, and plays.

I do both! I have many students who like in person, and others who use zoom. Many students also do a combination of these according to their schedules.
I charge 25 dollars an hour for my tutoring services. I take payment either in cash or through Venmo.
